Welcome to the Township of Washington, NJ 07676.  This great hidden treasure is tucked away in-between Ridgewood and Westwood. 

Accessible using County roads, New Jersey Garden State Parkway exit 160, Rt 17 and local roads one can get to work in a reasonable amount of time and shopping at one of the many shopping malls is just right around the corner.

The library, in town, was just recently remodeled which is also right around the corner from the Pascack Road Town Shopping Center.  In the center you will find a place for your grocery shopping, bagels, pizza, ice cream, Movie Theater and so much more.

The Jr.-Sr. High School is a regional school for Westwood and the Township of Washington.  The grammar schools are independent and are local to their areas.  Immaculate Heart Academy for girls, a Parochial School, is located in town next to the Ridgewood border.

The town also has an all volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Corps..  Many of the people in town volunteer their time to help the community at large, dedicating countless hours to their cause and securing their future.

The Township of Washington also is host to several clubs and organizations offering both their services and invite you involvement in what they do for the town.

Schlegel Lake is the deepest lake in Bergen County and is a private lake for its members but can be enjoyed by the many by walking around the streets that abut it.
